Administrative Coordinator

The Chaffee County Community Foundation (CCCF) is looking for self-motivated and community-minded individual to join its team as an Administrative Coordinator. This remote position will increase CCCF’s capacity to serve Chaffee County by becoming intimately familiar with CCCF’s grants, accounting, CRM, and Google Apps technology platforms and largely taking over responsibility for all administrative and daily communications functions of the organization as defined below.

About CCCF

The Chaffee County Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2018 that envisions a resilient Chaffee County where residents, nonprofits, businesses, and governments are thriving, interconnected, and well resourced. Our core mission is to act as a catalyst to inspire positive change through the power of philanthropy to enrich the lives of all people in Chaffee County. Originally conceived in 2006, CCCF didn’t take form until early 2018 when a dedicated group of individuals formed its founding board out of the Envision Chaffee County process. Resourced by ten visionary Founders Circle donors, former Pikes Peak Community Foundation Executive Director Michael Hannigan worked with the founding board of directors to launch the CCCF. Its first full-time Executive Director, Chaffee native Joseph Teipel, was hired in mid-2019.

Position Description

This position will work independently and largely remotely under the direct supervision of the Executive Director for the following primary scope of work:

  • “Office” manager functions – The Administrative Coordinator, once fully trained, will become the first point of contact for CCCF – answering phone calls, responding to general inquiry emails, assisting with scheduling meetings for the Executive Director and all board committees and official working groups. The Administrative Coordinator will be the glue that holds CCCF together – ensuring seamless communication, scheduling, and tracking of status of key projects, organizational supplies, and systems.

  • Information Management – The Administrative Coordinator will learn and become fully versed in the three primary cloud-based technology systems utilized by CCCF: Grants Lifecycle Manager (GLM), Community Suite (cSuite), and Google Apps (including Gmail, Google Calendars, and Google Drive). In addition, the Administrative Coordinator will become an administrator for CCCF’s tertiary apps such as Zoom, Mailchimp, Squarespace, etc. Using these platforms, the Administrative Coordinator will promptly and efficiently enter all financial transactions into cSuite, track and move grant applications appropriately through GLM, and manage proper record retention and organization of organizational documents.

  • Other duties as assigned– The Administrative Coordinator may be asked to fulfill other duties including but not limited to logistical planning for events, coordinating volunteers, research, etc
