Every year the Summit has grown and in 2026, we are adding some great new components to help our local leaders build their skills, connect, and grow in their leadership roles.


The 2026 Summit will feature:

  • Executive Director Boot Camp: 9 hour program over two days limited to 12 applicants covering the nuts and bolts of being an Executive Director from legal considerations to how to manage it all.

  • Board of Directors Training: Back by popular demand, a 2 hour session for board members to attend together to gain a deeper understanding of their role and how to engage in governance more effectively. Tuesday 10 am - 12 pm.

  • NEW: 2nd Day for Deep Dive Topics: The 2nd day of the Summit features two tracks offering comprehensive information while setting attendees up for success in putting the content into action.
    -Grants: The grants workshop will include research, applications, the attachments, managing expenditures, tracking program deliverables, relationships with funders, and more. Come ready with your materials in hand. You will work through your own drafts and leave ready to implement a strong grants strategy.
    -Impact: This combination "program evaluation" and "marketing" session will help you quantify and share your impact in ways that will build a stronger relationship with your funders, donors, stakeholders and more. Come with your data and you will be ready to engage your stakeholders on a new level.

  • 6 More Workshops: In addition to the above sessions, an additional six topics on development, marketing, volunteer management, workplace culture and more.

  • Networking: Structured and unstructured networking sessions built into the day to allow leaders to connect.
